FUCHS | RICHTER Inspection body

Every year, the Fuchsbriefe publishing house, renowned in the DACH region, selects the best asset managers in the German-speaking area. BTV achieved a “very good” rating (5th place) in the advisory discussion and 11th place overall out of a total of 70 asset managers in the German-speaking area. BTV was also ranked 3rd among Austrian private banks.

  • Criteria

    The audit is carried out by the independent Fuchs-Richter auditing institution via an anonymous, multi-stage test procedure. The audit criteria include the quality of advice, asset strategy, portfolio quality and transparency. The asset manager comparison is designed to support investors in selecting a competent private bank.

TRANSPARENCY LEAD AWARD

BTV Asset Management was awarded the “Transparent Bull 2025” for its asset management strategy “AM (Asset Management) 70 ESG”. BTV Asset Management was recognized for its outstanding performance in considering ESG criteria and its commitment to sustainable investments and transparency. The Transparent Bull is regarded as proof that – objectively, neutrally and independently of banks – information on asset management strategies is transparently disclosed with regard to understanding, reliability, credibility and comparability and that no interest in public competition is pursued.

  • Criteria

    The Transparent Bull is the highest award in the German-speaking world for transparency and information policy in investment funds and asset management and is presented annually by reporting specialists Reportify Analytics. To receive the coveted award, banks and asset managers must undergo an extensive transparency audit.

firstfive has awarded BTV Asset Management for outstanding results for the 15th time in a row. In the “Top Return” category, Asset Management was awarded five stars (outstanding results) in the “moderately dynamic” risk class over a period of 60 months and in the “balanced” risk class over 12 and 24 months. To qualify for this rating, the portfolio must be in the top fifth of the evaluated portfolios within the risk class. Asset Management also came in first in the “Sharpe Ratio” category in the balanced risk class over a 12-month period.

 

  • Criteria

    The independent controlling and rating institute “firstfive” continuously evaluates more than 180 real portfolios managed by banks and asset managers in German-speaking countries. It compares these in terms of risk, return and cost aspects and rates the portfolios according to a five-star rating system. To qualify for a rating, a portfolio must be in the top fifth of the evaluated portfolios within the risk class.

UCITS Hedge Award

In 2024, the BTV AM Alternative Investments Fund received the 2024 UCITS Hedge Award as the best new development in the “liquid alternative investments” category. These are alternative investment strategies that are highly tradable and also subject to strict regulatory guidelines. The fund was initiated by BTV Asset Management and is managed by FERI AG. The aim is to develop independent sources of returns through diversified and liquid alternative investments. The fund is used in BTV Asset Management variants to achieve consistent, independent returns and to reduce volatility in the overall portfolio.

 

  • Criteria

    The Hedge Fund Journal is considered the magazine for alternative investments and appears monthly with information on the latest developments, analyses and strategies in the alternative investment segment. Every year, the magazine awards prizes to the best products in various subcategories.

Austrian Dachfonds Award

For more than 20 years, GELD-Magazin has been awarding prizes to the best funds of funds in Austria every year. A total of around 550 funds are analyzed. 3 Banken-Generali Investment-Gesellschaft m.b.H achieved six first places, including for the Quant Global Plus, which was named the winner in the category “Equity funds of funds – conservative” over one and three years.²

  • Criteria

    The winners are determined using the Sharpe ratio* (risk-adjusted key figure) over a period of one, three and five years – provided that at least six funds of funds were available in the respective category over the corresponding period. The award can help investors choose a fund of funds that has achieved the best risk-adjusted return in a peer comparison and matches their investment strategy.

Austrian Ecolabel

The Ecolabel for sustainable financial products was awarded to VM Strategie Zukunft by the Federal Ministry for Sustainability and Tourism (BMNT) because economic, ecological, and social criteria are considered when selecting investment products (shares, bonds, funds).³

 

  • Criteria

    The basis for the award is that, in addition to economic criteria, ecological and social criteria are also taken into account when selecting equities, bonds and investment certificates or projects financed by means of green bonds. The Ecolabel ensures that these criteria and their implementation are suitable for selecting the relevant securities or projects.

    This has been verified by an independent body. The award of the Ecolabel does not constitute an economic evaluation and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the future performance of the financial product.

GREEN BRANDS

Our long-term commitment and our measures under the guiding principle of “mind and attitude” have been recognized. BTV received the “GREEN BRANDS” seal of quality for the first time. This is awarded to companies that make a significant contribution to protecting the climate, the environment, nature, biodiversity and resources.

  • Criteria

    The globally unique, three-stage process for awarding ecologically sustainable brands is possible for companies, products, food and service providers. The cycle of the award procedure for the GREEN BRANDS of a country is every two years. This means that the seals of quality awarded also have a maximum validity period of two years each.

kununu Top Company Seal 2025

There are many competitions that recognize the best employers. However, there is only one award that is given exclusively by employees: the kununu Top Company seal of quality. This is where applicants and employees can openly and anonymously provide feedback on their work or the application process in the company. BTV has been recognized as a kununu Top Company.

  • Criteria

    Only about five percent of companies on kununu have been awarded the Top Company seal. A company on kununu must fulfill the following criteria to receive the Top Company seal:

    • At least 7 ratings from employees since the profile was created. Ratings from applicants are not counted.
    • A score of at least 3.8 stars, both overall and for employee ratings.
    • In the past twelve months, the rating score of the employees must be at least 3.8 stars.
    • At least two new employee reviews in the last twelve months. An updated review also counts as a new review here.

The business magazine trend., in cooperation with Statista, kununu, and Xing, has conducted a complex process to identify Austria’s 300 best employers for the ninth consecutive year. BTV is fortunately among them again this year.

  • Criteria

    For the survey, over 1,000 employers were identified, with the help of numerous sources and company research, that meet the minimum requirement of 200 employees in Austria and that can be assigned to one of 20 industries jointly defined in advance by trend. and Statista. A total of over 230,000 reviews from four different evaluation channels were included in the ranking. For this purpose, 8,000 employees were randomly surveyed as part of an online panel on how highly they would recommend their employer. Furthermore, 160,000 members of the professional network Xing, as well as the kununu community and trend. readership, were invited to participate in the survey.

LEADING EMPLOYERS

LEADING EMPLOYERS is the world’s most comprehensive study of employer qualities in the format of meta-analysis. It translates a wide range of criteria into a holistic evaluation. BTV was again awarded the LEADING EMPLOYER Award in 2024. After an extensive analysis of around 40,000 companies and 700,000 analyzed data, BTV ranks among the top 1% of domestic employers.

  • Criteria

    The whole is more than the sum of its parts: in the format of a meta-study, LEADING EMPLOYERS analyzes a variety of sources, feedback and topics. By combining all the data, a significantly higher validity can be achieved than in a stand-alone study.

BEST RECRUITERS

Every year, BEST RECRUITERS analyzes the recruiting performance of more than 1,200 of the largest employers in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Liechtenstein based on a scientific criteria catalog. The Employer Branding & Recruiting team has once again taken on this challenge and BTV’s recruiting process was carefully examined by BEST RECRUITERS.

This year, BTV was awarded the BEST RECRUITERS Gold Seal and won the industry ranking. There was also a significant improvement in the overall ranking. This confirms a high-quality and professional application process.

  • Criteria

    Every year, the largest recruiting study in the German-speaking world tests the recruiting performance of the largest employers on the basis of a scientific catalog of criteria. This was created in collaboration with the scientific advisory board and is evaluated and updated annually. In the 2024/25 academic year, the study will include 330 individual criteria. The Candidate Journey is at the center of the evaluation.

    The comprehensive study results and best practices help employers to develop measures and optimize their recruiting, human resources and HR processes. They can see annually where they stand in the competition for the Right Potentials.

Service-Champions

Behind Service-Champions, the largest service ranking in Austria, is the German ServiceValue GmbH and the Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. For the study, customers from all over Austria rated the service performance of 831 companies from 66 sectors.

 

The ranking is determined by the ‘Service Experience Score’ (SES), which is closely tied to customer retention. To determine this, both current and former customers from the past 36 months were surveyed. The result: Once again, the BTV led the bank rankings as a sector winner and reached the gold category in the overall ranking.

  • Börsianer

    The “Best Financial Company in Austria” award is determined by the financial magazine “Börsianer” using a three-pillar scoring model and evaluated by the business and tax consulting firm BDO Austria. Among others, BTV was able to score points with the following innovations: “Toni” video consulting terminal and safe facility, BTVsign, financial manager in the banking app.

  • INN SITU receives Red Dot Award

    The „Red Dot“ award stands for the highest quality in design. Only the very best submissions capable of convincing an international jury with their design quality and creative performance receive this coveted distinction. Which makes it all the more impressive that the BTV art and culture programme INN SITU was awarded twice. The first was the communication design of the „DIE WUNDERKAMMER” focal point and the second was the catalogue for the seventh „DAS FOTOALBUM” series.

  • Joseph Binder Award for INN SITU

    The Joseph Binder Award is an international competition focusing on graphic design & illustration. It was first launched by designaustria in 1996. The communication design for the fifth INN SITU focus „DIE WUNDERKAMMER“ received this prestigious award.
